Περιγραφή σεμιναρίου
The IB Diploma (DP) and Middle Years Programmes (MYP) foster the engendering and development of interdisciplinary threads as essential parts of their respective teaching methodologies and philosophies. Additionally, no longer is any IB course seen as unrelated to TOK (Theory of Knowledge) or distanced from ATLs (Approaches to Learning). Establishing meaningful co-relations between the disciplines facilitates knowledge and expands the learning horizons of both IB and non-IB learners and educators. Intertextuality or, a meaningful dialogue between “texts” as the etymology of the term suggests, is generally regarded as a powerful learning tool that triggers expanded awareness. It frequently involves a dynamic, incessant and ever-evolving interaction between texts from seemingly diverse temporal or cultural frameworks.
