Professional Diploma in Data Analytics

The Professional Diploma is appropriate for early career professionals, recent graduates and senior students aiming to pursue careers as Data Analysts, Business Intelligence Analysts, Data Officers, etc.

Data Analytics is the fastest-growing domain in Industry 4.0, and will remain in great demand for the next decade. Data is now the most valuable resource globally. Value is created when data is collected, connected to other relevant data, and processed through data analytics methods and tools that turn into actionable insights and business knowledge.

Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

• Apply principles relating to data representation, retrieval and analysis
• Detect data patterns and draw inferences and conclusions supported by data by using data analytics methodologies

The Deree – Center of Professional and Continuing Education, in collaboration with Big Blue Data Academy, is organizing a 119-hour Professional Diploma in Data Analytics. This is a cutting-edge certification that aims to provide participants from a variety of backgrounds with a well-rounded immersion in the fundamentals of Data Analytics theory and practice.

The program will be taught by professionals with extensive industry experience and includes up-to-date lectures delivered in an engaging approach, combining fundamental concepts with the practical application of tools through live demonstrations and lab sessions.

Duration
The program runs for 10 consecutive weeks (119 hours in total), every Tuesday & Thursday, 18:00-22:00 and five fixed Saturdays, 10:00-17:00.

Professional Diploma
In order to be awarded the Professional Diploma in Data Analytics from the Deree – Center of Professional and Continuing Education and Big Blue Data Academy, participants need to:

• attend 20 out of 25 sessions (maximum number of absences: 4 weekly days and 1 Saturday lab)
• pass the final assessment
