She has an MA in TESOL and has studied for a PhD in Applied Linguistics. She has more than twenty-five years’ experience in teaching, teacher training and syllabus design in Greece, the UK and the US. She is a language school owner in Athens, promoting alternative and experiential models of teaching. She is an international trainer and academic consultant for publishers, ministries of education and private schools. She is an adjunct professor for Universities in Greece and the US and teaches TESOL Management at the Master's in Applied Linguistics for the Hellenic American University. She has given a number of talks in conferences all over the world (AAAL, EALTA, ALTE, TESOL among them). Her area of expertise is Second Language Acquisition.

It is designed for foreign language professionals in Greece - teachers at public and foreign language schools, private lessons teachers, directors of studies, school owners.

In this 3-hour hands-on workshop, we will explore ways of subtly integrating grammar tasks in all skills. Grammar is present everywhere and there is no language without it. However, teaching Grammar communicatively is often a riddle for teachers. How can we design grammar tasks that are creative and meaningful? How can we teach grammar “in disguise”? The workshop will include examples from soft-CLIL and values-based approaches too.
